The American singer Bob Seger’s original name is Rober Clarke Sege. Born in the year 1945, Bob Seger is a rock singer and songwriter. Hailing from Detroit, he used to perform in the 60s and 70s as the start of his career. He became successful nationwide in 1973 with his band The Silver Bullet Band. He was a national hit in the 1976s with albums Live Bullet and Night Moves. Inspiring from Little Richard, Seger was a classic rocker who wrote and recorded his own songs. Recently his song “Old Time Rock and Roll” was s named among The Songs of The Century. Although over 65 now, Bob Seger is still a renowned rock star and performs across the country.

Recently Bob Seger announced his plans for a tour in spring of 2011. Bob Seger along with the band The Silver Bullet will be performing live in many places across the United States. The tour will kick off from the end of the March. The tour is supposed to span over more than two months with live performances across the states. This tour is coming after a gap of five years with last performance in the spring of 2006.
